A Rampa do Pepê, localizada na serra da Taquara, com seus 1.060 metros de altura (a mais alta de Pernambuco) volta a ser usada.&lt;br /&gt;Os vôos não aconteciam há oito anos. A última edição do evento aconteceu em novembro de 1999. Este ano, a restauração da rampa e do acesso ao sítio onde acontecem os vôos, está sendo feita pela prefeitura de Taquaratinga.&lt;br /&gt;A expectativa é de que o circuito contribua para consolidar o turismo da cidade e a pratica do vôo livre na região.&lt;br /&gt;Fico especialmente feliz, por ter participado junto com outros pilotos aqui do Rio de Janeiro, do projeto e da inauguração da rampa de Taquaritinga em 1991.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Que altos vôos aconteçam por lá.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Como chegar a Taquaratinga do Norte: O acesso é pela BR-104, 56 quilômetros depois de chegar a Caruaru pela BR-232&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;____________________________________________&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ff9900;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#666666;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Pilotos brasileiros quebram recorde mundial no parapente&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;O record mundial de parapente foi batido por 3 pilotos voando&lt;br /&gt;juntos em equipamentos da SOL Paragliders.&lt;br /&gt;A marca é de 461,80 km. A decolagem de parapa no Pepino é pequena, não permitindo erro. Para nos que aprendemos a voar aqui, é mais fácil. Por isso, junto com o vento normalmente fraco, preferimos decolar de frente. Assim temos visão da corrida. Todos, sem exceção, que vem de fora, estranham e tem um percentual de erros grande. Vide John Pendry no High Level. A galera de locais com vento sempre forte e condicionado a decolar de costas, come um dobrado aqui com ventinho e sem corrida. O espaço aéreo é pequeno para o numero de praticantes. A concha de são Conrado tem +/- 3 km por 4 km. Neste espaço, nos fins de semana de verão e condição boa, voam 200/300 pilotos por dia. Asas e PP, veteranos e novatos. As térmicas são fracas normalmente. É uma excelente escola de termal, mas qdo. se pensa em experiência de XC, é bom ir voar noutro lugar. A aproximação para pouso num lugar com estas características exige disciplina as convenções. Bem, ai o problema é cultural. Se ha regras, sou contra! A não ser que elas me favoreçam. Mas este é um problema continental. O nosso vento dominante é o NE, que entra lateral, mas devido as gargantas entre morros, fica de frente na decolagem. Se este estiver forte, como normalmente acontece no fim das tardes de primavera e verão, uma vez voando, ou vai para a Gávea e pega turbulência no pouso ou então foge para a Barra e toma uma advertência por voar fora do espaço restrito. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;color:#ffff99;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;color:#ffff99;"&gt;Por outro lado, temos vantagens:&lt;br /&gt;1-O tapete em 90% da área de vôo já salvou muitos pilotos e me incluo com louvor nesta lista. Isso sem falar na areia da praia.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;color:#ffff99;"&gt;2-O sistema perfeito de resgate. Quando o helicóptero chega rápido, o faz em 6 minutos, mas quando demora, ai leva pelo menos uns 8 a 10 minutos. Isso inclui um "Rambo" que desce na corda e te resgata. Quanto. ao seu equipamento sobre uma arvore de 20 metros, por um trocado tem uma galera que sabe tudo sobre o assunto.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;color:#ffff99;"&gt;3-Quem aprende a decolar no Pepino, sabe decolar em qualquer. lugar.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;color:#ffff99;"&gt;4-Qto. ao vôo, no piriri não tem escola melhor. Se o papo é voar em rotor, tem para todos os gostos. Desde aquele obrigatório no pouso com NE, até aquele também. obrigatório no Cochrane para se ir ao Cristo. É também. uma escola e tanto.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;color:#ffff99;"&gt;5-Se você. é aluno, voe cedo. Sem vento, sem termal e sem outros pilotos. Você poderá dar quantos. vôos tiver saco, pois são cravados 15 minutos do pouso à rampa.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;color:#ffff99;"&gt;6-Mas se você. é novato. Tudo bem! Voe no lift de verão entre 11:00 e 15:00 hs e se divirta. Mas não voe alem disso, se não o NE te pega garoto. Ai, ai, ai!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;color:#ffff99;"&gt;7-Mas se você. é turista, é impossível não chegar lá em cima. Muita carona e um transporte oficial da AVLRJ. Isso sem falar no banheiro, chuveiro, açaí, quadra de vôlei, etc.&lt;br /&gt;Galera. Todos os lugares tem macetes. A boa regra e bom senso, segundo meu grande mestre PPI, é em locais novos, não seja o primeiro, nem segundo, nem terceiro. Espere o boi de piranha. Mas fique esperto com quem você usa como exemplo.
